Google has now added books to its Google Play store, for usersin India. Books on Google Play include thousands of Indian titles, from new releases to classics.

The Play Store now has two sections - Apps and Books. Selecting Apps will take you to the old app store, where you can download apps and games, while selecting Books will take you to Google Play Books, where you can browse through and download books.

A few weeks ago, Ron Charles, the Washington Post book critic and totally hip book reviewer, announced on his Twitter feed that Thomas Pynchon would be releasing a new book toward the end of the year, titled The Bleeding Edge. Immediately there was a flurry of excitement, speculation, and talk about the prospect of a new Pynchon novel, at least within the book blogs and news outlets I follow, even though precious little details were being released, namely if the book was finished, when it was actually coming out, or what it was even about.

Fantasy author David Dalglish is a big name in the self-publishing world, but he's on the cusp of something even bigger.

His path wasn't easy. When David uploaded his first book, way back in February 2010, he was working in Pizza Hut.

The popularity of his books, and the speed with which he was able to publish them, meant that it didn't take long before he was able to quit that job and write full-time.

If there was any compelling reason why I fancied to be a writer, it would be the apparent direct correlation between a man's writing success and his chances of getting laid. I'm not making this up; I read this in an article some time during my last year in college, during which time my hornyness level was off the charts. And trust me, when a man is super horny, any article that has the keyword 'get laid' printed on it will always be a worthy read.

Hey guys!  I've got a few guest posts lined up for you, and here is the first.  Now, quite a few people have asked - whether on the blog, twitter, or facebook, how in the world to get a book marketed.  What do we do?  How do we do it?  When the writers over at how2become.com proposed this article, then, I was quite happy to let them have the floor.  

After getting the covers for The Becoming and The Becoming: Ground Zero, I felt the need to get the cover for The Becoming: Brothers in Arms redone to match the other two. It has officially made its debut on Amazon, so I'm posting it here for your visual pleasure:
